In the context of the Thesis, the use of Deep Learning for the classification of Radar signals will be performed, with the aim of detecting breathing victims behind foliage. The result of the Thesis may be used in the case of snowfalls and extreme weather phenomena in high altitude, where survivors are using vegetation and foliage to shield themselves against low temperatures. The Thesis will make use of a hardware platform based on the NVIDIA’s Jetson Nano devices available through an educational grant by NVIDIA (First AIDL Kit).
