Design and implementation of a haptic glove for use in virtual reality simulators
Virtual reality (VR) haptic gloves are a new technology that has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with virtual environments. Haptic gloves can provide users with realistic tactile and motion sensing that enhance user experience in virtual reality simulation.
With advances in sensor and motor technology, haptic gloves can detect finger movement and even provide force feedback. More specifically, finger tracking is performed using hall effect sensors, which work by converting the strength of a magnetic field into a voltage output and thus determine the movement of the fingers and the pressure that will be exerted on the user's hand using motors.
